Which taxon includes only organisms that can successfully interbreed and produce fertile offspring?

    It's a species. The main taxons are domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus and species. But only organisms included in one species can breed and produce fertile offspring (with few exceptions, because species distinction is unclear in some cases). Directly higher rank - genus usually includes several species and organisms in distinct species are too distantly related to breed.
