What does each component of blood do when you scrape your hand?

    Actually each component of blood first tries to stop bleeding when there is a cut or scrape on the hand, So hence all the blood components starts to clump together by clotting, there by protecting the wound, with in few minutes, and hence protect the hand, and prevent loss of blood.
