At 3:15 one afternoon, the temperature over the land reaches its highest value for the day - about 32oC. The temperature over the adjacent water is about 22oC. What would the expected weather conditions be at this time?

    There would be a sea breeze

    Explanation:

    Since the temperature of the water is far lesser than that of the land, there would be a movement of convectional current from the sea to the land as a result of the difference in temperature. This is what is known as the sea breeze.

    During the night when the reverse happens to be the case, convectional current moves from the land to the sea in what is known as land breeze.
