    The sea and the land breeze are part of the prevailing wind patterns and the winds that blow from the shore toward the landmass is called as the sea breeze and takes place in the morning and the breeze that goes towards these form the land mas at the night is called as the land breeze. As the land heats and cools up much faster as compared to the sea thus the cool ar moves to replace the warm air from below. And thus the development of the offshore thunderstorms may be associated with the land breeze.
