It is important to conserve biodiversity or biological diversity for the sake of human existence. Biodiversity creates a balance of life on our earth. Without biodiversity, it would be a very boring place and the balance of nature would also get disturbed. Until the recent times about 80,000 types of plants are known to humans. The funny thing is that, there are only 20 species from which 90% of our food supplies come. The remaining species creates beaty and also can be a source for food. Biodiversity is reponsible for the frsh air we breath, the clean water we drink and the different kind of foods that we eat.
