If a cell is placed inside a solution that has a higher concentration of solutes then on the inside of the cell what can be said about the movement of water

    If there is a higher solute concentration outside the cell as opposed to inside the cell then water molecules would move out of the cell through Osmosis leaving the cell plasmolysed.
