    Incomplete dominance

    Explanation:

Incomplete dominance occurs when the dominant allele does not completely mask the effects of the recessive allele.

It is a condition where neither of the alleles completely dominates over the other one.

In this case, the organism's phenotype is different for both the dominant and recessive allele and express as a mixture of both of them.

Descendents possess an intermediate phenotype between the two parental phenotypes.

In the exposed example, the dominant form is dark purple, the recessive form is white, and the intermediate form is lavender.
