The plan would be of the intoxication type. A pecan pie has no toxicity at all unless someone is allergic to pecan nuts. However, seeds of the Taxus baccata, or yew tree, are toxic to humans. By adding such seeds to a pecan pie, the purpose of it is to intoxicate someone. Symptoms from this intoxication may be an increase in the heart rate, difficulty breathing, muscle tremors, convulsions, and others. More toxic than the seeds is the foliage of the yew tree.
