    Answer: The Sympathetic Nervous System

    Explanation:

The Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) forms part of the Autonomic nervous system (ANS) and is also known as the "fight or flight response"

It is activated during moments of danger or where an individual feels uncomfortable or nervous.

It is activated in response to a stimulus (the tickling in this case) which will then trigger a cascade of events where hormones such as noradrenaline and adrenaline to be released.

Once these hormones are released they bind to specific receptors which trigger the effects of the SNS

These effects include an increase in heart rate, dilated pupils, increased sweating and increased blood pressure.
