if you were looking at a cell under a compound microscope how would you determine if it is a prokaryotic cell?

    Lacks a nucleus and other membrane bound organelles

    Because prokaryotic means that the cell lacks a nucleus and you wouldn't be able to see it. Eukaryotic means it has a nucleus.
