The terms hypotonic, hypertonic and isotonic are used to compare the concentrations of solutions with one another. The term hypotonic is used when the solution has a lower concentration than the other solution, so water moves from this solution to the other.
A 500 mM fructose solution is hypotonic to any solution with a concentration more than 500 mM just as 600 mM of 1 M.
