Frogs can breathe through their skin thus it is this to allow for easy diffusion of oxygen

    Explanation:

Frogs are able to breathe through their skin due to which its skin is thin and moist.

They can absorb oxygen from water even during hibernation period. The skin is extremely thin and is made up of thin membranous tissue which is permeable to the both water and air. The skin also comprises of blood vessels that allows diffusion of oxygen from water into the blood vessels.

Therefore, even if the lungs are poorly developed, frogs being amphibians can survive beneath the water. The presence of mucus glands make the skin looks wet all the time
