The anti-parallel is a term used in biochemistry in which a polymers run parallel to each other but in opposite direction, this refers as the anti-parallel. The example is a DNA molecule that contains a double strand helix structure in which the strands a parallel to each other but they are in opposite directions. The anti-parallel structures are more stable and allows the formation of hydrogen bonds.
