During the translation phase of protein synthesis, where would you find an anticodon?

    An "anticodon" is the complementary code of every three messenger RNA (mRNA) nucleotides; every three is termed a codon. Each anticodon is within a specific transfer RNA (tRNA), which carries a unique amino acid for that anticodon to add to the growing polypeptide (protein chain).
