Once you touch the hot object, your nervous system automatically alerts your brain something is harming you. Within a millisecond the brain directs your muscular system to react and pull away from the object and your skeletal system is moved because of this action (the muscular system pulls on the skeletal system to move). At this same instant the brain which is part of the nervous system alerts your endocrine system that there is damage to be healed. The endocrine and circulatory systems then work together to heal the wound. The endocrine system releases hormones due to the trauma and the circulatory releases meditators and prevents infection.
