The air that you inhale goes directly into the lungs. The lungs are filled with various aveoil that allows the exchange of Carbon dioxide and oxygen to occur after the Capilliaries have delvivered the blood with low O2. Blood contains hemoglobin which allows for the oxygen to be delivered throughout the entire human body via the human heart. After the blood has delivered the oxygen to the cells which has allowed the process of cellular respiration to occur, the whole process starts over again. Where new oxygen is needed.
