    Explanation:

    Mitosis can be described as a process by which a cell replicates and makes two daughter cells. Every cell of the body other then the sex cells replicate by the process of mitosis.

    Interphase can be described as a phase in which a cell make copies of its DNA in order for mitosis to begin. This phase has three stages:

    G1 phase: The cells grows and produces more organelles and proteins.

    G0 phase: This phase occurs when the cell does not have to carry out the process of mitosis.

    S phase: the DNA is synthesized and other required machinery for mitosis is made.

    G2 phase: The cell goes back to normal size.
