    Blood viscosity is the biophysical property of blood which describes its state of being thick, and sticky as a result of internal friction. Blood viscosity determines how red blood cells moves through the blood vessels. The main factors that determine blood viscosity are; hematocrit, plasma viscosity and red blood cell deformability and aggregation.
