    The criteria used in diagnosing patients with SLE are the following;

    · Malar rash

    · Photosensitivity

    · Discoid skin

    · Mouth or nose ulcers

    · Neurologic disorders

    · Arthritis

    · Cardio pulmonary involvement

    · Immunologic disorders

    · Renal disorder

    · Hematologic disorder
