The enzymes for the digestion of disaccharides and small polypeptides can be found in the small intestine, mostly in the duodenum. The ones that digest the disaccharides are produced in the actual small intestine, more specifically in the b rush border. The enzymes that digest the small polypeptides have their origin in the pancreas but are effective only in the duodenum.
