Ans. D. Chloroplasts convert light energy into chemical energy that can be used by mitochondria. Mitochondria takes the energy that the chloroplast gets from the sun and uses it to fuel other cell processes. In other words, the mitochondria uses the food produced by the chloroplast and converts it into energy.
