Throughout history, amoebic dysentery has resulted in the deaths of many soldiers. Deaths from this illness have often exceeded the number of deaths from wounds. What likely led to the high rate of infection by the amoeba that causes this disease?

    The reason for this disease is that some soldiers maybe while fighting the enemy could not find healthy food ate what they are not supposed to eat
