    In 1886 Haymarket riot occurred in United States (Chicago). In a rally in the market someone thrown bomb at police. Its named as Haymarket riot because the place in Chicago where it took place is a market namely Haymarket square. Agitation was made against eight hours work per day. At first it was a peaceful rally but later on public rushed to attack police and in aftermath eight persons died and several workers injured badly.

    It was a violent confrontation. In this crime several persons were arrested. Two of them sentenced to death and others got life time imprisonment.
