"Faith that the scientific method always leads to the truth" is not a kind of evidence used to support evolutionary theory.

    Explanation:

The naturally selected theory of evolution was firstly established in the book "On the Origin of Species" by Darwin in 1859. It is the phenomenon by which organisms have shown and will show variations over time, as a consequence of difference in heritable physical or behavioral traits.

It is not necessary that scientific methods always accepted to be true and acceptable, because it can be just an "educated guess" and may carry some deficiencies which is needed to be rectified. Therefore evidence to support evolutionary theory fossils are best considered and reports on them rather than only a scientific method.
