Mitosis is the process in which the chromosome are separated into two identical sets of chromosomes which in the end have their own nucleus. Meiosis is the division in 1/2 and then in 1/2 again causing 4 sets of chromosomes. So, your answer would be m itosis produces two genetically identical daughter cells but meiosis produces four genetically different daughter cells.
