Based on enzyme activity, explain why you would place certain foods in the refrigerator?

    Certain foods should be put into refrigerators because enzymes at a certain temperature are not as active or can completely stop working. When putting food in a fridge, we're often exposing the food to lower temperatures on which the speed by which enzymes work will slow down drastically, an example of this can be bananas.
