    Explanation:

    A DNA is a double stranded helical molecule containing four different nitrogenous bases. The nitrogenous bases found in DNA are Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine and Guanine.

    In the double stranded sequence above, a base in the first strand pairs with a base directly under it in the second strand. Thus, A pairs with T while G pairs with C. Each of the strands have 15 bases which represents 15 base pairs.
