Epithelial tissue. The epithelial tissue is the interface of our body with the external world. Everything that enters into our body that's not through puncturing, or something that breaks through tissue, will firstly enter into contact with an epithelial tissue and then is, or is not, absorbed. The same happens whenever the body releases something to its exterior.
