Water will go out from the balloon into the solution.

    Explanation:

The balloon that is discussed in the question contents the sucrose solution of 20% sucrose and 80% water. In the solution outside the balloon it contains 40% sucrose and 60% water. So show the solution outside the balloon is more concentrated with respect to sucrose than the solution inside the balloon. So show the is exosmosis will occur which will bring water from the balloon to the solution. Show the the balloon will shrink and the solution outside the balloon will become less concentrated.
