I tested soda and a sports drink for protein with Biuret solution. I got unexpected results. For the reducing sugars test, I got the same results (orange) and I used Benedict's solution. Benedict's solution and Biuret solution both have copper sulfate. I need a hypothesis for why I got the unexpected results.
