After the Cold War ended, it was the extraterrestrials that ''took'' the blame for the several incidents. If we take in consideration the facts, the Bermuda Triangle is nowhere near the top 10 places in the world, in water alone, where there has been mysterious disappearances of ships and planes, despite it being one of the places with highest traffics of both ships and planes. The only difference is that this particular place got too much publicity, and the media used it to pump it up.
