If patient insisting of having some allergic reactions which he has experienced following amoxicillin administration anytime before though the medication administration record and armband do not indicate medication allergies then nurse can do skin test or patch test to rule out amoxicillin allergy or she can talk to the consulting doctor to prescribe the patient antibiotic of other group other than amoxicillin according to the disease to be treated.
