An organism has an inversion in one homologue of a chromosome pair. When its germ cells undergo meiosis, how many of its gametes will also carry the inversion (assume crossing over does NOT occur) ?

    Germ cells undergo meiosis to produce gametes. This means that the daughter cells will contain one homologe of a chromosome pair. That means 50% of gametes will carry the inversion.
