As discussed in the introductory passage, the normal human microbiota has coevolved with humans. this microbiota consists of a wide variety of organisms interacting with each other and with their human host. for a normal, healthy human host, how is/are the majority of these relationships described?

    The vast majority of the relationships that can be observed between humans and microbiota are commensalism and mutualism. These relationships are the reasons to why these organisms thrive in their environment because the microbiota living inside humans are able to obtain food and energy immediate to their cellular process. Consecutively, humans are able to metabolize some food consumed through these organisms as long as they are regulated and monitored.
