Why does it make sense that muscle cells would be the best adapted to carry out fermentation?

    Muscle cells would be the best adapted to carry out fermentation because it is used by your own muscle cells when you work hard and fast. Muscle cells also use lactic acid fermentation to generate energy. Because of the lactic acid build up in the muscles, the muscles become sore and tired after running.
