What does immagraton, emigration, birth rate, and death rate determine about a population?

Immigration and death rates both decrease a place's population because individuals are going somewhere else to live, and/or they die. Emigration and birth rate both increase a place's population because individuals are going to the place to live, or babies are born to increase the population.
