The question is somewhat convoluted, and I'm not sure that I understand it.

Here's a cool factoid that might be what the question is getting at:

Of the total energy radiated by the sun, about

0.00000 00454 % of it

reaches the earth. Much of that is reflected back from the Earth,

and is never absorbed.

(The rest of the sun's radiated energy misses the Earth, since our planet

is such a small target.)
