How do renal vein and arteries relate to the kidneys?

    The renal veins carry deoxygenated blood away from the kidney. There are 2 renal veins. Renal arteries provide blood the kidneys. Before entering kidney, each renal artery divides into 5 parts, in order to provide blood supply to every segment of the kidney.
