    Sperm receptor is also known as zona pellucida sperm - binding protein 3 (ZP-3). It is a ZP module protein in human that encode by the ZP3 gene. Thus, ZP3 is the receptor that is found in the zona pellucida that binds the sperm at the beginning of fertilization.
