In the 1930s, how did Dobzhansky and Mayr explain the origin of species?

    They both discussed the clarified that species begin through Allopatric speciation, it occurs when the biological population of similar species is vicariant. There are 4 types of speciation, peripatric, parapatric, and sympatric and artificial. One example of it is Galápagos finch.
