    Well aside from Campylobacterosis and possible Sepsis, one very rare disease is Guillain-Barré syndrome, which occurs when a person's immune system is "triggered" to attack the body's own nerves, and can lead to paralysis that lasts several weeks, with around 1 person of every 1000 infections develops this syndrome.
