In snapdragons, heterozygotes for one of the genes have pink flowers, whereas homozygotes have red or white flowers. When plants with red flowers are crossed with plants with white flowers, what proportion of the offspring will have pink flowers?

    If;

    RR represents alleles for red flowers

    rr represents alleles for white flowers

    Then, Rr will represent alleles for pink flowers

    When RR is crossed with rr, all the offspring will be Rr

    RR x rr = Rr, Rr, Rr, Rr

    Hence, all the offspring (100%) will have pink flowers
