Do prions do any nutrition process?

I know prions are proteins but, what do they do to keep functioning?

I mean if you are asking if prions do us any good or not there's has been recent research suggesting the bright side of prions where some prions play decisive roles in normal cellular functioning. Other than that, they are misfolded proteins associated with numerous neurological diseases.
