    Explanation:

    This process is known as artificial immunization or vaccination.

    It is the process of of introducing vaccines into the body, in order to stimulate the body immune system in producing antibodies to protect the body from subsequent infections.

    The vaccines introduced to the body contains the dead version of the pathogen which the body is expected to develop resistance to. And by this, the body will try to fight against the dead version of the infectious agent by producing antibody to fight it, and which will later fight against an active or living version of it when it enters the body.
