What is released during a peptide bond

    During the formation of a peptide bond, a covalent bond between the amino group of 1 amino acid to a carboxylic group of another amino acid, the H from the amino group and the OH from the carboxylic group from their respective amino acids are released. Then they combine to form a molecule of water. H20.
