    E site or exit site is the site of the termination of the translation and the release of the formed peptide.

    Explanation:

    The ribosome is an organelle that provides the site for the process of translation or the synthesis of proteins in the organism.

    The structure of the ribosome contains two sub-units which enclose in them the three sites: A, P and E.

    The E site refers to the exit site which is the third or the final site for protein synthesis. At the E site, the deacylated tRNA binds to the peptide and the termination of the translation occurs and then the peptide is released from the exit site of the ribosome.

    A site - It is known as the acceptor site and at this site the aminoacyl tRNA binds which holds the new amino acid that is to be added to the growing polypeptide chain
