Which is the difference between an antibiotic and an antiviral

    Antibiotics are type of drugs use to treat bacterial infections while antiviral are drugs use to treat infections caused by specific viruses. Both types cannot be interchanged. You cannot use antibiotics for viral diseases and vice versa.
