How does an allele cause a trait in an organism?

    By definition, an allele is another form of a gene wherein it is usually subjected to a mutation in which it could be either classified as dominant or recessive. In addition, the utilisation of an allele is among the common causes for determining the trait of an organism because "it causes a certain type of protein to form."
