Under ideal conditions, bacteria have a generation time of about 20 minutes. Humans have a generation time of about 20 years. Which would you expect to evolve faster? Why?

    Bacteria will evolve faster, because bacteria will reproduce quicker, adaptation, variation, and natural selection will work faster on bacteria because when a favorable trait occurs, it will be reproduced and evolved faster in bacteria.
