A student wonders weather removing the nucleus from a cell would result in a new prokaryote cell. why would this procedure fail to produce a prokaryotic cell?

    The nucleus is the brain center of a cell. The rest of the cell is relying on the nucleus to tell is what to do an how to function. You cannot just remove a nucleus and expect it to create another type of cell as it would quit functioning and die off all together.
